MIND SOUL BODY 2023 EVENT RECAP

SWISH ON SOBRIETY
Thank You to the fantastic turnout of people who supported our Swish On Sobriety cornhole event on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Moorehead Recreation Center, which raised $4,500 towards our recovery efforts! This cornhole event would not have been possible without Jon and Pam Dean from Denver Cornhole, who donated their custom handmade boards for the day. Beyond their giving hearts, their talent and artistry are second to none, so make sure to give them a call for all your Cornhole needs and other hand-crafted woodworking services. They're amazing!
We also gained life-changing insight from Taylor Dreessen with Young People in Recovery, who demonstrated how Naloxone can reverse an overdose and save a life. Truly valuable information that can help all of us better understand how to make a difference for someone in need.
The cornhole tournament was a great time, and we really appreciated the smiles, cheers, and encouragement from every player on all our tremendous teams. A special thank you to our friends from Aurora Sober Living for their support and our new friends.
The entire day was a picture of heaven on earth where people from all backgrounds come together to celebrate sobriety and raise funds to help save a family from the pain of losing a loved one to an overdose.

SPIN FOR OPIOD SENSIBILITY
The Raymond Rountree Jr. Foundation thanks you for your donations and live participation at our August 19, 2023 Spin for Opioid Sensibility bike ride, which enabled us to raise $2,400 to help those on the path to recovery.
We had 30+ riders hit the road with us and an abundance of additional support from event volunteers, donors, and generous contributions from The Colorado Health Foundation and Henry Cooper Law. These events could not happen without this amazing community of support, so we’re truly humbled and appreciative of each and every one of you.

STEPS OF SUSTAINABILITY
We had 14 people join us to enjoy a beautiful, overcast day at our third Steps of Sustainability event at Rueter-Hess Incline on Saturday, May 13. Big shout out to the three people who completed six total laps to honor our foundation's sixth anniversary, and of course, to everyone else who came out to raise funds to help our recovery community's continued journey on their path to recovery.
Check out a few highlights of the day from this Steps to Sustainability 2023 video, and we're thankful the event and outreach efforts helped raise $480 to help our cause.
Thanks again for joining us at Rueter Hess and to all the others who donated to support this great mission we're all committed to!

SPIKE ON SOBRIETY
Thank you for your energy and flexibility to jump in where needed and make our 2023 Spike on Sobriety volleyball tournament a great success!
Based on 57 donations and participants, including each of you, we raised $3,239 to help our continued efforts to provide recovery services for those struggling with Substance Use Disorder (SUD). That's $519 more than last year, so we're extremely grateful for the growth!
I can't express how much your care, thoughtfulness, and support mean to our life-saving and changing efforts to help those on the path to recovery. It truly takes a village!
